Welcome to medicase_mobile. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the medicase_mobile mobile application ("App"), provided by medicase_mobile ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App on iOS or Android, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and possess the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. This App is not intended for children, and use by anyone under the age of 13 is strictly prohibited.

medicase_mobile is an educational platform designed for medical students and professionals to enhance diagnostic skills through: * Interactive medical case scenarios and symptom analysis. * A structured onboarding process and performance analytics. * A competitive league system for collaborative learning. * Premium subscription-based features including advanced cases and personalized insights.

The content is intended to simulate clinical scenarios for training and should never be used to diagnose or treat actual patients. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider regarding a medical condition.

3. User Accounts & Registration

To access certain features, you must register for an account. * Third-Party Authentication: We utilize Google Sign-In, Sign-In with Apple, and Supabase for authentication. By using these services, you agree to their respective terms. * Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate information (Name, Email, Profile Photo). * Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Obligations & Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful educational purposes. You shall not: * Use the App to misrepresent your medical qualifications. * Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App. * Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to harvest data or manipulate the league system rankings. * Submit any content that is defamatory, obscene, or violates the intellectual property rights of others.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content within the App, including but not limited to medical case descriptions, diagnostic algorithms, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of medicase_mobile or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the App for personal, non-commercial educational use.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

* "As Is" Basis: The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the medical scenarios. * No Professional Advice: We are not responsible for any clinical decisions made based on information obtained through the App. * Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, medicase_mobile shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

medicase_mobile operates on a freemium model. * Premium Features: Access to advanced scenarios and insights requires a paid subscription. * Billing: Payments are processed via third-party providers (App Store/Google Play Store) using the `purchases_flutter` framework. * Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. * Financial Information: We do not store credit card details directly; all financial transactions are handled by the respective app store platforms.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the interests of the Company. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account within the App settings.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
